The vision of 20 selectors

We started proceedings with Divine posing a range of questions about masculinity – as is Divine's wont. Moved through men as painters, preachers and "pharmacists" to arrive at Iron Man later on (the Ondatrópica version obvs, despite it being the Sabbath for some). However, with the diversity of tunes on offer from the twenty sets it was anything but an endurance test. We were reminded of the existence of Crystal Castles, marvelled at the presence of Link Wray's Rumble – and despite being one Cumbrian down, we were introduced to the delights of at least a couple of cumbia collectives. As Roddy Frame said in set ten – we could send letters.
